This is a feature that allows you to record the progress of your students during their time in your school easily and quickly. Typically, these progress reports are done on a weekly basis but you can adapt it to how frequently you measure progress. (There are more detailed reports available for monthly assessments of students here.)
Completing Progress Reports
These are created via Course Admin – Student Progress – Student Progress. When you have selected the date, course and location and clicked Get Data the lower part of the screen will appear plus all students who are in courses that week
The way to use this is that you select items from the drop downs and when you click Fill Progress all students progress reports will be filled with what is contained in the drop downs. You can then go to individual students and make necessary changes.
Here is an explanation of the lower part of the screen and how it works:
Test Date – this will be the same date as at the top but you can override it.
Test Subject – here you will select the type of item that you are recording progress on. The items to choose from in this drop down are held in Look Ups here.
Test Type – what time of test the students have taken will be selected here. The items to choose from in this drop down are held in Look Ups here.
Mark – select the progress mark from this drop down. The mark can also fill in a grade and pass or fail in the progress report automatically. The items to choose from in this drop down are held in Look Ups here.
Fill Progress – when clicked the settings chosen above are filled in to the following for each student in the school that week:
Save – must be clicked to save progress reports.
